A teenage boy is the third person to be arrested on suspicion of attacking a heavily pregnant woman and causing the death of her unborn baby, Scotland Yard said.
The 16-year-old was arrested today on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and child destruction.
He was taken to a London police station and released on bail.
Two young men have already appeared before the Old Bailey in connection with the attack.
Kevin Wilson, 22, who is believed to be the child's father, and a 17-year-old boy, appeared in the dock each charged with causing grievous bodily harm to 21-year-old Malorie Bantala and child destruction.
Miss Bantala was set upon by two people wearing motorbike helmets on the morning of June 15 this year in Talfourd Place, Peckham, south-east London.
The victim, who was 32 weeks pregnant at the time, was jumped on and kicked on the ground in front of shocked passers-by.
Wilson, of the Longfield Estate, Bermondsey, south-east London, and the 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were remanded in custody.
