I am disappointed in NDC - Lucky Mensah

Ghanaian highlife musician Alex Mensah known in showbiz circles as Lucky Mensah says he is disappointed in the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Lucky Mensah says the NDC deserted him after he composed a song “Atta beye ama mo’ (Atta will do it for you), a song praising then NDC candidate John Evans Atta Mills. that served as the theme for the party's elections 2012 campaign.

According to him, the ruling party has not shown any appreciation for the work he did in ensuring that it retained power.

“My song had a big influence in retaining the NDC party in power but the leaders and executives of the party, instead of appreciating my good works, have rather neglected me,” he stated on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Lucky Mensah has dismissed rumours that he is broke and lives from hand to mouth, citing his ownership of a 15 bedroom apartment.

“I am not broke or hungry as many Ghanaians are speculating,” he added.
